Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide information to site owners, and enable certain features.

This policy explains which cookies the Delphian platform uses, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences.

2. Cookies We Use

We use a minimal number of cookies, limited to those necessary for the Service to function:

Cookie NamePurposeDurationCategory
__sessionFirebase Authentication session token. Maintains your signed-in state across page loads and allows the server to verify your identity.5 daysStrictly necessary
nua_cookie_consentRecords your cookie consent preference so we do not ask you again on every visit.365 daysStrictly necessary

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not use tracking pixels or cross-site tracking technologies.

3. Cookie Categories

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the Service to function and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to actions you take, such as signing in or setting your consent preferences. Without these cookies, the Service cannot operate correctly.

Both __session and nua_cookie_consent fall into this category. No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive (Directive 2002/58/EC, as amended).

Analytics Cookies (Optional)

We do not currently use analytics cookies. If we introduce analytics in the future (e.g. privacy-respecting tools like Plausible or Fathom), we will update this policy and request your explicit consent before setting any analytics cookies.

4. Managing Cookies

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View which cookies are stored on your device
  • Delete individual or all cookies
  • Block cookies from specific or all websites
  • Set preferences for first-party vs third-party cookies

Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies (__session) will prevent you from signing in to the Service. The platform requires authentication to function.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for regulatory reasons. If we introduce new cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will obtain your consent before setting them.

Material changes will be communicated via a prominent notice on the platform. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when this policy was last revised.
